Panacea Theriac aka Miss Pussycat began her career in art and puppetry as a child in the Southern Baptist Church of Antlers Oklahoma as part of the Christian Puppet Youth Ministry.  She later moved to New Orleans and started a secret nightclub called Pussycat Caverns, which hosted bands and all types of performance in a unique and lively atmosphere. Since 1997 she has run a similar secret nightclub with Quintron, The Spellcaster Lodge.

Quintron and Miss Pussycat are internationally famous for their rock shows combined with puppetry. For the last 20 plus years, she has toured rock clubs, libraries, and secret clubhouses all around the world sharing their music and her vast knowledge and artistry in puppetry.

 Panacea looks at each puppet as a being, with a personality, style and a voice. The puppets are part of her family.  Puppets are family and have served as a springboard for artwork, videos and installations.
Panacea works with ceramics, paintings and photos to build shrine like tribute statues of her beloved puppets and their worlds.

We just added many new pieces which were in Miss P’s Ponchatoula Twin Steeples art center in January. They are spectacular and would make nice new friends.
