Dirk Fowler is a Panhandle Plains Printmaker.  Originally from a small town outside of Memphis, Texas; Dirk now resides in Lubbock with sweet wife Carol and family.  Dirk teaches graphic design at Texas Tech and is known far and wide for his design and poster work using  beautiful antique letterpresses.  His first and favorite recognition was in 1979 when his drawing was published in Jack and Jill magazine.
We are huge fans of Dirk’s wit and sharp minimal design and were thrilled to learn that he recently received a Lubbock Hall of Fame award!
We recently opened an exhibit of his and son Jackson’s work at our Fort Davis location. We had him bring out many pieces including a new one he designed and printed for Marfa Public Radio.
We love our Marfa Public Radio and are donating $10 from the sale of each piece back to them.
